The Orcs carry Merry and Pippin away from Rauros
Merry and Pippin run, or are carried, towards Isengard. The memory of the day is black and shrouded in their memory.

Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli run after Merry, Pippin, and the Orcs
After running through the night Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli rest just before dawn. When they continue they fiind five dead Orcs along the trail, and catch sight of an Eagle heading back north. Eventually they see the Orcs running in the distance, Aragorn finds the dropped brooch, and they stop to rest.

In the calendar of the Shire, there are 12 months each with 30 days, so there will be no results for the 31st of any month, and February will have entries on the 29th and 30th.
