Frodo leaves Bag End, beginning his quest
Merry leaves Bag End with Fatty Bolger and the last cart of items as part of the move. Frodo gives Lobelia Sackville-Baggins the key to Bag End, and he leaves Bag End with Pippin and Sam. As they leave, Frodo overhears a Ringwraith asking the Old Gaffer about Baggins. This begins the journey to Crickhollow.
