Frodo and Co. continue their journey to Rivendell
Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, and Bill the Pony continue their journey from Weathertop to Rivendell. There is no sign of the Black Riders. The rain finally stops, but Strider realizes they have gone too far North. Frodo must dismount in order to climb the rocky terrain.

In the calendar of the Shire, there are 12 months each with 30 days, so there will be no results for the 31st of any month, and February will have entries on the 29th and 30th.
